Basic Concealed Carry Course

Firearms Safety Training course meets the mandatory training requirements of RSMO-571 Section 571.111, and is approved by the standards set forth by Missouri State Statute. Special emphasis on weapons safety in and outside of the home, instruction and basic principles of marksmanship, care and cleaning, legal requirements of the state for certification, laws relating to concealed carry, and the justifiable use of force per RSMO-563.

A minimum of eight hours instruction is divided between the classroom and live fire on the range.

Upon successful completion of training, each individual will be issued a certificate of Firearms Training.

Those enrolled in one of our courses may provide their own firearms (1 revolver and 1 semi-automatic pistol) for the live fire portion on the range. If you choose to bring your own firearms, you will need to bring 100 rounds of ammunition for each. All firearms must be carried in closed case, unloaded, and readily available for inspection. All firearms will be inspected prior to admittance to range. Ammunition must be carried in a separate container from the firearm. Additionally, eye and ear protection is required safety range equipment. If you do not have the required equipment, it will be provided for you at no additional charge.

If you do not own a firearm, or wish to use ours, we provide firearms and ammunition for our firearms at no additional charge.

We do traveling classes:

20 plus people $50.00 per person

15-19 people $65.00 per person

10-14 people $ 75.00per person

You must provide a place to hold the class and a range for qualification, once class is booked, we will do it rain or shine, all classes must be prepaid.

Important Notices

Should you lose certificate there will be a charge of $10.00 to search records and reprint certificate. Be ready to provide your class date and Control number information. Please also note that all checks and or cash for CCW courses will be deposited the Wednesday before your scheduled class. Classes are non refundable after this time. Should you need to reschedule, you must call the shop no later than 3PM on the Wednesday immediately preceding your class date.

After you complete the course:

In Missouri: Once you complete the training course you will receive an affirmation sheet and one certificate. Take both of these to YOUR LOCAL Sheriff’s Department. You will fill out an application, be fingerprinted and pay the appropriate fee of $100. Within 45 days you will receive notification form the Sheriff’s Department of the outcome of your background check. You then need to return to that Department and pick up your paperwork. You have 7 days to report to your local DMV to a Missouri ID card. At this point you are CCW certified once you have your ID in hand, not before.
